Today we met with our Project Manager &
Sales Rep for our prebuild meeting. It was from 11am-3:30 PM but we literally
went through every detail which is a great thing because we did find a few
discrepancies. We chose the Linen & stone cabinets but they only had us for
Linen. They do not like changes at this point but if you do need to make them
this is the time. We were able to get the Stone cabinets added on, also we added a
dedicated circuit to the basement which you should do if you plan on having a
fridge or freezer in the basement, this was $300.
We also went over placements of 110
outlets, recessed lights, flood lights & ceiling fans. Overall it was a
good meeting and though long was totally worth it to be able to make sure
nothing was missed. Our estimated break ground date is Sept. 6th and
we are estimated to close in “late December”. We told the PM that we are not in
a rush so we do not care how late the closing date is. Also our sales rep finally
realized we went over $15k cap in upgrades but he said he won’t ask for it until
management does.
